As a design led business, working within the worlds of contemporary art and industrial furniture design, our furniture is sensibly and rationally designed for lasting beauty and value. We have a wide knowledge and experience of materials and techniques and work with the highest quality materials; from wood and specialist metals through to glass, leather and upholstery.

Founder Gildas O Laoire began an obsession with craft and design at an early age, growing up in a family of entrepreneurs and woodworkers. Gildas is of French‐Irish heritage, born in Dublin in 1979.

The studio is pioneering work in sustainable design. We care deeply about our impact environmentally, socially and economically. Our timber is sourced locally or from European forests that hold FSC certification, ensuring all our products are made from responsibly managed sources. We try to avoid tropical hardwoods. Our workshop is heated by waste chips and offcuts that we produce, so we almost completely eliminate waste from our activities.

All our furniture is made to last and stand the test of time.
